Vice President of Philanthropy
Carroll Lutheran Village, a premier 700+ resident continuing care retirement community located in Westminster, MD, is seeking a highly qualified candidate to raise funds needed to insure the Village’s continuing mission of providing housing, health care and related services to its residents and to the elderly of the community. This key member of the Exec Team reports directly to the President & CEO and is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the integrated Philanthropy Plan for the Village.  The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years successful experience including demonstrated knowledge and creativity in the areas of annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and philanthropy communication.  CFRE or ACFRE preferred. Residence in the area is desirable.

Director of Nursing

Asbury Methodist Village, Gaithersburg, MD

Asbury Methodist Village is the flagship campus for Asbury Communities, Inc., the 14^th largest not-for-profit, senior living organization in the nation.  AMV has 1300 residents, 800 employees, and a $77 million operating budget on its 130-acre Gaithersburg campus.  Founded in 1926, this United Methodist Church related CCRC has a long history of quality care and innovation.  AMV’s Wilson Health Care Center is an accredited skilled nursing center.  It is licensed for 285 beds, all of which are certified for Medicare and Medicaid.  Wilson consistently has 95% occupancy and excellent State survey results. 

The Director of Nursing has the opportunity to continue and solidify the process of transforming the culture of Wilson to person-centered care.  He or she must be a compassionate, yet strong, inspirational leader; and s/he will have the full support of AMV administration and availability of Asbury Communities resources.  Additionally, s/he must be a good, open communicator with administrators at AMV as well as with direct reports, residents and their families, and other staff.  The position requires a bachelor’s degree (a masters is preferred), an RN license, and experience with EMR.  The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of successful experience in nursing administration in a complex setting and must be analytical in the approach to management and clinical issues.  Please call Ted Otto (312-489-1000) with inquiries or send resumes to ted@tedottogroup.com.
