Director of Nursing:
 •  Ensures that optimal quality of care is provided in a safe environment;
 •  Manages programs that promote the recruitment, retention, and continuing education of nursing staff;
 •  Sets goals and establishes priorities
 •  Monitors and evaluates operations, programs, and practices for quality and effectiveness, and recommend improvements and changes when necessary to meet challenges.
 
A successful applicant will have an extensive background in health care and at least three years of experience in nursing management. Must be able to prioritize and organize, to establish objectives and specify strategies and actions to achieve those objectives. Considerable interpersonal and communication skills required. Will need to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to management, staff, patients and their families.
 
Currently, we are looking for RNs for permanent placement at facilities in:
 •  Northern DC suburbs
 •  Coastal Maryland
 •  North of Lynchburg, VA
