The Director of Clinical Operations (DCO) provides clinical leadership, support, and guidance to Renaissance Gardens (RG) skilled nursing and assisted living staff working at an Erickson community. The DCO works in collaboration with community nursing teams to ensure regulatory compliance and appropriate resident care delivery. The DCO will support and ensure the implementation of new clinical programs, practices and policies, conduct onsite clinical assessments, audits, and mock surveys, and provide ongoing training and education to community nursing teams. The DCO will have at least five years experience in Gerontology nursing, preferably as a Director of Nursing and must be able to travel and work a flexible schedule.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, a Maryland nursing home administrator’s license (or the ability to obtain one) and a minimum of 5 years experience as an Administrator in a large long-term care setting. Risk Management
The Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, a premier provider of geriatric services in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, is seeking a dynamic individual to be our Director of Quality Improvement/Risk Management. Located on a 34 acre campus in suburban Rockville, MD, our system provides a continuum of care encompassing long term care (558 nursing home beds), sub-acute care (70 beds), dementia care, assisted living (60 units), independent living (500 units), and outpatient health clinics. This position will work closely with all operating departments, including our full time medical staff as well as the Quality Improvement Committee of our Board.
Primary responsibilities include providing leadership to coordinate quality improvement and risk management programs for residents, patients, and staff; regulatory compliance; tracking and trending of specific data; investigating and analyzing actual and potential risks; assessing documentation tools, techniques, protocols and compliance, assisting with the development and monitoring of quality improvement/risk management priorities and indicators; and planning and presenting educational programs for staff and board committees.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in senior quality improvement/risk management positions with a clinical background preferred. Director of Residential Services
Cedar Lane Apartments, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Leonardtown, MD has an opening for a Director of Residential Services. Successful candidate will be responsible for 49 unit AL, RSA Fee for Service Program, Congregate Housing Program, Resident Activities, Volunteer Program and Service Coordination. This is a newly created position that will supervise the on-site Delegating Nurse, Support Services Manager, Service Coordinators and Residential Activities Coordinators. Successful candidate will develop and adhere to financial plan, identify opportunities for service and budget improvement, develop a comprehensive QA program and have responsibility for clinical oversight and regulatory compliance.
Candidates must have ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to plan, display good judgment, problem solve and make sound decisions. Strong management, interpersonal and supervisory skills are essential. BA/BS required with 2 years experience in AL desired, 5 years experience in a position with management and leadership responsibilities, basic knowledge of and the ability to apply geriatric nursing principles and familiarity with pertinent state and federal regulations.

Director of Social Work
The Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, a Charles E. Smith Life Community, is a premier provider of senior services, a 556-bed long term care facility with a 70 bed sub-acute unit located in Rockville, MD, and is seeking a Director of Social Work to join our team. Reporting to the Administrator of Nursing Home Operations, this position has primary responsibility for planning, organizing and overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the department. This includes supervision of four social workers and three case managers while participating with an interdisciplinary team in developing and enhancing Palliative Care and Alzheimer’s Dementia programs.
The successful candidate will be a LCSW-C and will be able to provide clinical supervision to those licensed at the level of LGSW in the department. Four years progressive experience, including supervisory and departmental management in a long-term care setting, preferred.

The Vice President of Finance (VP Finance) will provide strategic financial leadership and strong financial oversight and support to this multi-site CCRC network. The ideal candidate for the VP Finance role will be a seasoned senior living, aging services or acute hospital financial management professional. This executive will possess exceptional leadership skills, a record of successful multi-site senior living or complex healthcare financial management experience, knowledge of continuing care retirement communities, expertise in effectively supporting operations teams, and a collaborative work style. This leader will be known for their ability to develop excellent working relationships with top leadership, management and staff, as well as with external financial advisors, commercial bankers and investment bankers. This executive will provide the senior leadership team with timely and comprehensible financial information and insight, and serve as a strategic financial advisor to the SFSL President. A Master’s degree is preferred, as is CPA designation.
