Wellspring's PULL Program, Alliance Programs Underway!
With generous support from Maryland's OHCQ, the PULL program is underway, providing free, on-site culture change and clinical best practices to 10 'challenged' facilities in the Baltimore area. Wellspring Director, Charlotte Eliopoulos is working with a nurse trainer/consultant, Eileen Doll to provide expert support and guidance for facility staff throughout the program.

Meanwhile members of the Mid-Atlantic and Carolina Alliances continue to train on an aggressive schedule this year. Current workshop offerings planned for the MidAtlantic Alliance are:

March 9: Promoting Quality of Life Within a Culture of Safety (Train the Trainer Workshop)
Faculty: Sarah Kneisler RMT, NHA (Wisconsin)

April 20: The Re-emerging Spiritual Senior: Their Roles, Their Journeys, and Their Legacy
Faculty: Rev. Sarah Wood Lee M.Div, B.C.C. (Spiritual Care Dept. Oak Crest)

Charlotte Eliopoulos will be presenting a Leadership for Frontline Staff workshop to the Carolinas Alliance on March 9.

Wanda Goldschmidt Joins Wellspring Team. After several years of fine service to Wellspring, Sandy Sanders needed to resign. We thank her for all of her leadership and support to the program and wish her well in the future. In her place we are fortunate to have hired Wanda Goldschmidt to replace Sandy as a Nurse Consultant to some of the MidAtlantic Wellspring homes. Wanda has considerable experience, especially in the area of dementia care. >Read more
